Amex

Amedeo Gaspari, alias Amex, rapidly got himself a reputation as one of the most interesting progressive / trance producers from Italy.

At age 23 and hailing from Milan, Amex has silently been honing his skills ever since his first encounter with EDM music when he was 15.

Releasing and remixing on labels such as industry heavyweights Blackhole Recordings, Armada, Monster Tunes, just to name a few, Amex received massive support from many A-listers Djs including very big names like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn. Bestsellers compilations like ATB’s The Dj In The Mix, Roger Shah’s Magic Island and Blackhole’s In Trance We Trust Compilation featured his music as well; at the same time he launched his own radioshow and podcast.

His latest releases include a collaboration with young south african producer Jason Van Wyk on First State Music, a solo release entitled “Azama Beach / Closer EP” on Black Hole Recordings and featured on the new ATB compilation and a collaboration with russians Smart Apes on Monster Tunes. Every single release gained support from the A-list djs, as Armin Van Buuren (A State Of Trance ), Tiesto (Club Life), Paul Van Dyk, ecc.

Amex has been also the guest in the 15 Minutes Of Fame in the Tiesto’s Club Life episode 198, broadcasting a 15 minutes set featuring some of his next releases, and the reactions have been…big!! Tiesto said about him: “one of the new names on the scene that is gaining his space in the industry”.

On the Dj side, Amex’s sets consist of an exciting blend of various styles from house to trance, as he says “it’s all about make people dance”.

2009 & 2010 have seen Amex showcasing this all around Europe, with gigs in Holland, Slovenian, Czech Republc, and of course in his home-nation Italy, playing alongside Chris Liebing, Simon Patterson, Emma Hewitt, Roger Shah, Manuel Le Saux, Fabio XB, Ozgur Can..

Definitely, Amex is the one to watch for this 2011, expect lot of exciting stuff!
