Remix Competition: The Thrillseekers feat. Fisher – The Last Time

We’ve just got wind of one of the most exciting remix competitions to hit the trance scene this year. Adjusted Music are offering you the chance to remix arguably one of the best vocal tracks of recent years and certainly one of 2008′s most memorable releases, ‘The Thrillseekers feat. Fisher – The Last Time’. The prizes are fantastic and this is a great opportunity for any producer – established or up and coming, so we’ll let Adjusted do the talking from here on in.

The Thrillseekers Remix Competition

From his first single ‘Synaesthesia’, through to the club anthems ‘Waiting Here For You’, ‘By Your Side’ and ‘Song For Sendai’, Steve Helstrip (AKA Thrillseekers) has been behind some of the most emotive, evocative electronic music ever released. He’s worked with pioneers like Trevor Horn, shared co-production credits with Chicane, and co-wrote on Ferry Corsten’s ‘Right of Way’ album. He’s reworked Sonique’s ‘Feels So Good’ into a worldwide number 1, and remixed some of the most influential artists of the past 10 years. But now it’s your turn.

Here’s your chance to remix one of the Thrillseekers’ biggest releases to date. Featuring the astonishing vocals of Fisher, and chosen by Above & Beyond as their favourite track of 2008, the track in question is, of course, ‘The Last Time’. The winning mix, chosen by Steve, will be featured on the Thrillseekers upcoming artist album and see a full release in its own right. Additionally, the winner will receive a Thrillseekers Remix of one of their own tracks, to be released in association with Adjusted Music. Two runners up will see their remixes featured on the re-release package, and the opportunity to remix any track from the Thrillseekers forthcoming album.

What kind of mix is Steve looking for? Well, he’s leaving that up to you! Be as creative as you like!
