A highlight from Above & Beyond’s TATW400 set, Super8 & Tab’s “Awakenings” has enjoyed a flood of online buzz and anticipation ever since this high profile debut airing. The first full release from Miika Eloranta (Super8) and Janne Mansnerus (DJ Tab) for just over 12 months, “Awakenings” is an electrifying return – teeming with energy, groove and melody.

Beginning on a cheeky electro-house influenced groove, “Awakenings” brings Super8 & Tab’s distinctive twist to the modern trance sound – before arriving at a towering, intensely uplifting melodic breakdown with all the hallmarks of classic Super8 & Tab. Another act making a welcome return to the label, US-based duo Tritonal get freaky and technical with the synth riff – as well as roughing up the groove. A futuristic, fresh, highly charged and inventive remix, Tritonal’s remix is the perfect companion and another slick modern trance groover.
