2-Dutch bookings and management office has signed yet another superstar on the rise, who perfectly matches their ‘don’t label us’ philosophy: Marcus Schössow. Ok, there’s a tag that does fit the 1985- born Swede: you can call him an Artist with a capital a. His sound? Filthy, groovy and filled with catchy riffs and anthemic sounds – Schössow with a capital S.
Since his 2007 hit ‘Mr. White’ smashed dance floors worldwide, many see him as the front man of the trouse movement. But instead of viewing that as yet another of many pigeon holes within dance music, this rather says Marcus created a distinguished and recognizable, unique sound. He can team up with heroes of house or trance to create massive tracks. He can go solo and do filthy electronica or mental dubstep. He can create movements with his anthems. He can and will keep doing it all, as 2-Dutch believes in freedom and creativity just as much as he does.
Next to being a one-of-a-kind producer, with Marcus’ acclaimed radio show ‘Tone Diary’ airing on Area (Sirius/XM) and various internet radios supporting his sound to travel all around the globe, Schössow persona on and off stage clocked up some of the biggest gigs in the calendar. He rocked Street Parade, Trance Energy, Dance Valley, Godskitchen and Creamfields, just to name a few.
Being consecutively voted most popular Nordic DJ since 2008, he has also cemented his spot in the DJ Mag Top 100, making him the fifth act in a row on the 2-Dutch roster representing the world’s most important DJ list. And being only in his mid-twenties, this is just the start. Marcus Schössow, welcome to the family!
