Axwell’s much talked about Axtone South Beach takeover events – Wednesday, March 21 at Amnesia and Sunday, March 25 at the Surfcomber have sold out in record time! However, there’s still a chance to be a part of these great events!

Last week Axwell revealed that he’s launching an exciting competition (in partnership with MixCloud) that will see one DJ fan win the chance to provide the opening set at both the Amnesia and Surfcomber events. Full information on the DJ Competition has now been revealed on Axwell’s Facebook

Contestants will be asked to submit two mixes – one for each event – and submissions will be reviewed by Axwell, Thomas Gold and NO_ID. In addition to an opening slot at both events, the winner will also receive a complimentary flight to Miami and lodging, $500 in spending money, a meeting with Axwell and his team, and Axtone merchandise.

Axwell has also announced a Spring European Tour that will take the superstar and his DJ family to some of the most unique venues across Europe from the new Warehouse Project venue in Manchester to the Wagram Theatre in Paris. These venues were by the fans who selected online which cities Axwell was to visit. As of this press release, fans were battling it out for the final slot on April 7. Lastly, Axwell is already planning his summer schedule with the announcement of his “Axtone Presents” shows in Ibiza which will include events with Skrillex, Pete Tong, Thomas Gold and No I.D, among others.
