(Los Angeles, CA) After quickly selling out SOMA and then moving his show to PETCO Park in an attempt to meet demand, deadmau5 wants to make his Friday, October 28th show – his first ever staged in a baseball stadium — massive on every level. So, in order to ensure that everyone is included, deadmau5 wants to make it easier for San Diego fans to catch his spectacular set. All remaining general admission tickets for his Friday, October 28th concert are available now for $65 each, all-in (without any additional charges or fees).
In addition, fans that purchased PETCO Park tickets when the concert was originally announced will receive a refund for the difference in price.
The evening will also feature performances from his mau5strap label artists Tommy Lee & Aero plus Feed Me with SOFI, along with special guest Sweden’s Avicii, who will be making his only appearance on his current Meowingtons Hax tour.
Tickets for deadmau5’s upcoming PETCO Park concert are available now at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster.com, at select Live Nation and Ticketmaster retail outlets plus via Charge-By-Phone (800.745.3000). All tickets from the original SOMA date will be honored, with SOMA ticketholders given early admission to the venue before it opens to the public. Also, for fans 21 and over, VIP packages with an exclusive field location and a full no host bar are available for purchase.
Named after his cat Professor Meowingtons, deadmau5’s Meowingtons Hax tour encompasses more than 40 shows in markets such as Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Montreal, Boston and Chicago. The tour officially launched August 7 at Lollapalooza in Chicago, where deadmau5 was an official 20th Anniversary festival headliner along with Eminem, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Muse and My Morning Jacket. USA Today noted deadmau5 “…symbolized the festival’s transition into a hotbed for electronic dance music,” (Piet Levy, 8/8/11) while SPIN.com touted his set the best of Lollapalooza.
The show features incredible production—a spectacle of lights and LED (check out a clip from Lolla below) which compliments deadmau5’s live repertoire of hits, classic cuts and brand new music. deadmau5 also helmed headliner slots at Outside Lands and the Virgin Mobile FreeFest, as well as sold-out four consecutive shows at the legendary Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and six consecutive shows at Roseland Ballroom in New York City.
