Eddie Halliwell to Record 8th Radio 1 Essential Mix at Creamfields 2011

As the mighty Creamfields Festival will be settling into a second day of hard partying and revolutionary dance music on Saturday 27th of August, it will also usher in the return of the eponymous master of the decks: Eddie Hallliwell.

With his performances at the festival renowned for being a full force battering ram of pioneering audio delights, needless to say this year will be bigger and more brutal than ever. This time around fans will be able to re-live the blistering experience of Eddie’s set as the event will be recorded live for Radio 1’s infamous Essential Mix. This will be Eddie’s record breaking 8th Essential Mix for Radio 1.

Eddie’s set will be aired during a super special extended Creamfields Essential mix on Friday 2nd of September at 11pm and will be available to listen again at www.bbc.co.uk/radio1
