Dating to as far back as 1994, the groundbreaking Kyau & Albert were quick in transitioning their individual talents into one vibrant and comprehensive duo. Preceding an ample amount of miscellaneous product, each release has been one to capture the attentions of EDM followers from all over the globe.
March 30 2012 marks the release of their 15 Years Album, whereby comprised is 17 tracks exhaling the master works from the duo over the years. In a snip-it, here is a taste of what is to be expected from the release…
Falling anywhere (sunn jellie remix): Manifesting an 80’s vibe, the opening track ‘Falling Anywhere’ (Sunn Jellie Remix) presents a calming sense of funky electronic swag, extracting your senses and fixing your emotions in a state of wonder.
7skies (ellez marinni tech mix): Transitioning to ‘7 skies’ (Ellez Marinni Tech Mix), this tune integrates grunge and a deeper more intensifying style throughout its play.
On the way: Venturing to the next track, Kyau & Albert present striking and poignant vibes in ‘On The Way’. With a futuristic vocal unveiling simultaneously with uplifting and punchy pads, this song ties in to be one of the more lightly coloured tracks featuring on the album.
Neo love (dennis sheperd remix): Denis Shepard then goes on to elicit a sensational remix of ‘Neo Love’ featuring as the fourth track on the album. It resonates a true dance anthem that encapsulates all the right sounds to evoke euphoric emotions all throughout your entity.
Once in a life (tritonal remix): ‘Once in a lifetime’ remixed by one of EDM’s sensational duos, Tritonal, demonstrates nothing less than pure class and quality. Combined with uplifting emotive lyrics, nearing the kick in, what more is there to expect than a pivotal moment climaxing in epic electronic madness?!
Are you fine? (arty remix): As the next track ‘Are you fine?’ introduces itself, after hearing the soul clenching remix interpreted from the respected Arty, I’m sure one can answer the songs title in a positive manner with a banging YES…after hearing this tune!
Always a fool (2011 rework) / This Love: The 2011 re-work of the tune ‘Always A Fool’ unearths intimate moments by the lyrics pondering topics about life. In addition, the next track ‘This Love’, which is yet to be released, also resonates lyrics that infiltrate your mind and make you stop and listen to the enticing melodic line.
Save me (steve brian remix): The Steve Brian remix of ‘Save Me’ presents a stunning melody that glistens through the atmosphere. With a house vibe set ashore you will surely feel as if you are striding alongside a beachside setting.
Megashira (ronski speed remix): Transitioning into the epic Ronski Speed remix of ‘Megashira’, which was also Record Of The Week on TATW with Above & Beyond #391, an exhilarant and grungy riff stimulates your mind and grasps your utmost attention.
Painkillers (alternative club mix): The duo’s next track ‘Painkillers’ beacons your soul with beautiful harmonic pads evoking infectiously feel good vibes. This track is unique by the lyrics contrasting in tone with the tracks keys, which may just be what creates that ‘right’ mixture that we all love and know.
A night like this: Progressive and consistent, ‘A Night Like This’ is just that. We all love lyrics in which we can all relate, thus, this track screams the true essence of an electronic dance anthem that we could all sing along to – in whatever setting that may be.
I love you (cosmic gate remix): With a tight and progressive remix of ‘I Love You’ by the iconic and well-respected Cosmic Gate, this track is sure to re-direct your mood to the beautiful things in life. Pure class and quality music, this collaboration satisfies all of your listening needs.
Be there 4 u (mat zo remix) / kiksu (2011 rework): With remixing magic from the talented Matt Zo, you can expect nothing more than extreme punchy and poignant stylistic features in ‘Be There 4 U’. Similar to the re-work of ‘Kiksu’, sharp and plucked synths infiltrate the air and showcases the epitome of the music we love and enjoy from Kyau & Albert.
Made of sun (stoneface & terminal remix): ‘Made of Sun’, well that is exactly what this track is! Stoneface & Terminal have executed nothing but quality with their remix. With a dub-step and grimy start, the kick in resolves in synth madness by the heightened intensity and anticipation bearing.
Velvet morning (super8 & tab remix): Moving to the final track, this one surely upholds the saying ‘save the best till last’. ‘Velvet Morning’ (Super8 & Tab remix) illustrates a perfect club anthem whereby the configuring harmonic keys and a beautiful lyric’s create the ultimate bomb!
